Just before 05:00, on the night of Sunday, an aggravated robbery was committed in the municipality of Mellerud.
Two masked criminals entered a residence by pretending to be police officers.
– They must have expressed it verbally, I have information. But I have no information that they had uniforms or dressed up, says August Brandt, press spokesperson at the police.
A man and a woman were victims of the robbery. The robbers used some kind of spray and forced jewelry and a cell phone through threats of violence.
The suspected perpetrators were later arrested after their car was stopped by the police, according to Aftonbladet’s information.
