Through their Facebook page, the students of the Saltillo Technological Institute (ITS) invited the community in general to participate in ‘MercaTec’ this Sunday, September 24.
The Brown Burros ITS Student Movement, installed at the intersection of V. Carranza and Universidad Avenue since last Monday, September 18, announced the event on social networks.
The call was opened for anyone who wants to sell something to do so in front of the ITS facilities, especially “to those who were forced to stop selling within the Tec.”

It is worth remembering that among the points that bothered the students to take over their facilities was the prohibition of making sales inside the campus, an activity that helped to cover the expenses of some students.
In the poster they announced on Facebook they clarified that the organization El Chante Rifa – a collective of local artists that holds a market in the Historic Center of Saltillo – will be invited to the event.
It should be remembered that on July 29, police and alleged municipal employees asked the Chante to leave Ocampo Street where they were going to hold a craft market.
In the sign they clarified that the sale of alcoholic beverages, harmful substances or illicit products will not be allowed.
