How did you adapt to this left winger position?

I used to play like that in Lyon where I generally occupied the right lane, so I had a lot of reference points, it didn’t bother me playing in that position. Before every match, I condition myself as if I was going to start. When we had the talk, I saw my name on the board, the coach hadn’t warned me!

We saw you defend a lot and retreat, was this a desire on your part or instructions from Luis Enrique?

Yes, these are instructions from the coach. He wants us to attack a lot, but also to defend a lot. I respect what he tells me and I try to do my best.

I think we were superior to OM, we put pressure on from the start of the match and we tried not to let it go, to attack on all actions. I think it worked pretty well. We know that we shouldn’t give up after replacing Kylian and we all responded.

The competition in the offensive sector is very strong… Do you have the feeling of progressing alongside your new teammates?

There are a lot of good players in the offensive sector. Training and evolving with players of this quality helps me progress a lot. This is a very good thing for me. The players have really made me feel at ease since I arrived.
