A 40-year-old woman will be tried for violence against a minor committed in Boissy-Saint-Léger. The scene was filmed and went viral on social media.

A 40-year-old woman, mother of a student at school in Boissy-Saint-Léger (Val-de-Marne), will be judged on December 22 in Créteil for violence against a classmate of her son, said Sunday the Créteil public prosecutor’s office and relayed by The Parisian. “An investigation was opened at the Boissy-Saint-Léger police station after the victim (a 10-year-old boy) filed a complaint with his parents on September 21 to denounce violence inflicted by the mother of a classmate with whom he had fought,” said the public prosecutor.
The investigation concerns the counts of “acts of violence against a minor aged 15, followed by incapacity not exceeding eight days, direct provocation of a minor aged 15 to commit a crime or misdemeanor, public insult due to origin, ethnicity, nation, race or religion and repeated threat of violence,” continued the prosecution.
“Beat him up”
The affair began on Wednesday September 20 near the Blaise-Cendrars college in front of several students. The accused mother slapped and insulted the young boy whom she accused of having assaulted her son. She subsequently ordered her son, present on the scene, to hit the child in turn. A video circulated on social networks shortly after the incident. We see a blonde woman slap a young black boy and ask him to kneel, before violently removing his glasses. “Go ahead and beat him up!” the mother orders her son. Slap him. » The boy hesitates then pats him lightly on the cheek. “Put him a good one,” she gets angry. The boy complies shyly. His mother yells at him to hit harder, which he ends up doing.
The mother ends up making new threats: “Where did you come from? » Before adding: “Where are you educated? » Implicated and placed in police custody immediately on Wednesday, she was referred two days later. She is now under judicial supervision and will be judged on December 22 at the Créteil criminal court.
