Garcia back in the WTA Top 10

The Frenchwoman moved up the rankings after her semi-final loss to Sakkari at the tournament in Guadalajara (Mexico).

Semi-finalist last week at the WTA 1000 in Guadalajara in Mexico, Caroline Garcia finds this Monday the Top 10 of the world ranking published on Monday, unchanged for the first five places. The Lyonnaise moved up to 10th place after her defeat on Friday in the semi-final (6-3, 6-0) against Maria Sakkari, future winner of the tournament and the best progression in the Top 10 this week.

The Greek, former world number 3 in 2022, gains three places to reach 6th position. No change at the top of the rankings, where Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka is still ahead of Polish Iga Swiatek and the winner of the US Open, 19-year-old American Cori Gauff.
