A man killed his wife and fled after setting fire to the house, in the Vila Nova Cachoeirinha neighborhood, in the north of São Paulo. Between January and June this year, 111 femicides were recorded in the state of São Paulo. This means an increase of 34% compared to the same period in 2022, when 83 cases were recorded.
