This year, under the slogan “We are united in choosing a profession!” The second meeting of customs classes is taking place.
47 students from 8 customs classes of secondary school No. 1 in Brest and Borovlyany gymnasium got acquainted with the practical work of customs officers at the Kozlovichi checkpoint. The guys saw how cargo is processed, how the canine service works, and scanning equipment is used for this purpose.
As part of the meeting, students visited the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex, honored the memory of the heroes of the defense of the fortress with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.
A sightseeing tour of the city of Brest was also organized for students of the Borovlyany gymnasium with visits to memorable places. The meeting was also joined by students from class 11 “T” of secondary school No. 1 in Brest, who visited the “Defense of the Eastern Fort” museum.
In total, the event was attended by 74 schoolchildren from secondary school No. 1 in Brest and the Borovlyany gymnasium, the management and teaching staff of these educational institutions, as well as employees of the Brest and Minsk central customs offices.
