With a rich program of conferences, workshops and live broadcasts dedicated to podcasts and radio production for the Internet, the 33rd edition of the National Youth Radio Workshop and Competition begins Antonio Lloga in Memoriamwhich will run until Sunday, September 24, in Santiago de Cuba.
According to Rey Luis Correa, coordinator of the contest, around 50 contestants from 13 provinces participate, representing 18 radio stations, three newspapers, two universities and the same number of sociocultural projects.

On this occasion, 48 works are competing for the Antonio Lloga Grand Prize, of which 21 are for the special award for the best podcast and other individual specialties; Likewise, collateral recognitions will be delivered by 24 institutions and organizations in the country.

Inaugurated this September 22 in the Hall of Mirrors of the Provincial Government, the event – as recognized by Juan Edilberto Sosa, president of the Hermanos Saíz Association in the city – will be a space for learning and creation between filmmakers of the medium.
