A celebratory interview between Affleck and his good friend, actor Matt Damon
The pair of Hollywood actors, who also happen to be very good and close friends, have for many years talked about their careers, friendships, failures and successes, and managed to produce an intimate, exciting and one-time interview, especially in honor of the release of their new film starring Affleck
In honor of Affleck’s new film ““The Tender Bar”, directed by another beloved and popular Hollywood actor, George Clooney, Damon and Affleck joined for a particularly festive and intimate interview, with Affleck being the interviewee and Damon being the interviewer. As befits a close and good friend, Damon praises Affleck’s acting abilities and says: “Your game is complete, accurate, one-time.”
The interview between the two begins with a rather comical sting on Damon’s part: “It’s clear to you that Clooney cast you for the role because you were cheaper than me.” But Affleck did not remain obligated, and immediately said, “Clooney said he chose me because you tend to argue too much.” By the way, in reality, things are actually the opposite. Affleck earns twice as much as Damon. In other words, Affleck gets 20 million for a movie, while Damon only gets 10.
As two close friends for many years, as you might think, the interview pretty quickly trickled down to particularly friendly and nostalgic places. Affleck and Damon talked about their careers, which pretty quickly split, with Damon being considered the more serious actor, while Affleck found himself in action movies.
Affleck also revealed and remembered that for years he was asked to go to a tanning salon, straighten his teeth, work out in the gym. “I was constantly told, you have to be sexy,” Affleck said. Towards the end of the interview, Damon praised his best friend and said: ‘In the last decade you have done some of the best roles in your career. I’m very proud of you. ‘
