The Real spanish soccer federation (RFEF) reiterated that the search carried out this Thursday by the Civil Guard related to the ‘Negreira case’ “has to do with the federative administration of two previous stages” to the current one and made it clear that he has “collaborated at all times.”
This Thursday, the Civil Guard carried out an entry and search in the offices of the Technical Committee of Referees in the RFEF by order of the Barcelona judge who investigates the payments made by FC Barcelona, judicial sources informed Europa Press. Specifically, documentation is being sought regarding the case in which the former presidents of the Catalan club Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell appear as defendants.

“During today, the Civil Guard has carried out a documentary record at the headquarters of the RFEF Technical Committee of Referees within the framework of the investigation of the ‘Negreira Case’, some facts that have to do with the federative administration of two stages prior to the current administration,” the federation noted in a statement.
The RFEF assured that “all “its staff” has collaborated at all times with the request for information by the State Security Forces and Corps” and that “continues at the disposal of Justice for the sole purpose of clarifying the facts under investigation as soon as possible.”
