It is a terrible scene currently playing out on the Magnan viaduct, near Nice. An OGC Nice player would threaten to commit suicide, as indicated this Friday by Be Matin. Arriving quickly on site, the emergency services tried to convince him not to end his life, as did a psychologist, dispatched to the site by his club. An intervention group in dangerous environments is also present.
The right lane of the highway has been neutralized to allow all emergency vehicles to park. Traffic from Italy has been slowed down.
In the meantime, OGC Nice has decided to cancel all its press operations planned for this Friday. Nice is due to host Brest this Sunday (3 p.m.) for the 7th day of Ligue 1. The identity of the player has not yet been revealed.
