CNDD-FDD activists gathered in Brussels for enlightened pan-African reflection

Brussels (Belgium), 09/23/2023 – The Belgium Section of the CNDD-FDDin keeping with the continuity of foreign policies, notably that of the diaspora, and internal policies of Burundi, has embraced the pan-African ideal which characterizes its political movement in Burundi in this new multipolar era [1]. In a warm atmosphere, the “Bhe keeps it secret » (name of CNDD-FDD activists) of the Belgium Section, under the direction of Mr. Kubwayo Félix, Secretary of the Belgian Section of the CNDD-FDD Partyalong with Mme Mukerobirori Josephine, responsible for “Bakenyererarugamba” (name of women activists of the CNDD-FDD), M. Bigirimana Jean, responsible for “Bahumure” (name of elder activists of the CNDD-FDD), and Mr. Bakangimana Arnold, responsible for the “Imbonerakure” (name of young CNDD-FDD activists in Belgium), organized a pan-African meeting focused on reflection with a view to the unification of Africa for a prosperous futurewith particular attention to current political changes in West Africa and their likely impact on the African continent, particularly in East Africa.

In this debate took part political and civil society activists from Burundi, Niger, Togo, Gabon, Chad, Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, DRC Congoas well as the Belgium Section of the Pan-African League-UMOJA (https://lp-umoja.com).

Mr. Kubwayo Félix announced the participation of an eminent couple, composed of Mrs. Nitonze Eliane and her husband, the Ambassador of Burundi to Belgium, the much appreciated Amb. Ntahiraja Thérenceto whom the opening speech was granted.

After a masterful introduction by the Professor Kentey Pini-Pini Nsasay, an open exchange took place with the guests, followed by interventions from the “Bagumyabanga” present. The day proved so enriching that Mr. Kubwayo Félix, Secretary of the Belgian Section of the CNDD-FDD Party, expressed the wish to repeat it in the future.

The meeting ended with a drink and small fraternal snacks, symbolizing the spirit of ubuntu for all participants.
