27 years after the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur († 25), a suspect was arrested on Friday morning.
Las Vegas police said, according to “ TMZThe gangster Duane “Keefe D” Davis (60) was taken into custody. However, the exact charges are still unclear.

Shakur was gunned down on September 7, 1996, in a black BMW that was stopped at a red light near the Las Vegas Strip. The rapper was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, where he died a week later.

The leader of the Compton Crip gang claimed in a 2018 Interviewthat he rode in the car and gave the murder weapon to his nephew Orlando Anderson before he fired the fatal shots.

In July of this year, police finally searched his Las Vegas home and confiscated old photos and evidence. According to the Sun, Metro Police investigators “thought long and carefully” before even paying attention to the gangster’s statements and pursuing the case.
Now it appears the evidence was strong enough to arrest Duane Davis.
