The agony and anxiety that each of the 24 hours of those 5,629 days meant for the family, after the disappearance of these three brothers, ended in a way that no one wanted, but that resignation forced them to accept.
The family gathered around a wooden table, located in the middle of what in that area of Córdoba is known as a kiosk, that place in the house without walls, with a thatched roof, which is between the kitchen and the bedrooms, that allows the breeze to come in to refresh and where you can hang hammocks to rest and let the hours of the day pass by.
On that table were three chests and inside them, what time and the jungle left as evidence of their three bodies. The gazes of those present did not deviate; mother, sisters, brothers, uncles, cousins, nephews and even children through video calls observed those chests and the life photos of Héctor, Luis and Rafael. The sensations and thoughts were mixed, the memories of this loss welled up, as well as the tears.
