Abu Dhabi : Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy launches first training program under the Child Friendly Justice initiative. The training is aimed at raising awareness of legal proceedings involving children, including criminal civil cases involving minors.
Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Undersecretary Youssef Saeed Al Abri said the training was primarily aimed at those who specialize in criminal cases, court officials and those working in the field of child protection. The initiative was initiated by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The UK is training to prioritize the rights and interests of children in all disputes. Said Helen Stafford, professor and interim head of the law department at the University of Liverpool.
