Washington – New turn in the shutdown drama in the USA: The House of Representatives voted on Saturday for a 45-day bridging budget. The Democrats grudgingly supported the Republican bill, which does not contain any aid to Ukraine. Now the Senate has to vote on the text and there is a chance that a standstill in government business can be prevented at the last moment.
