Which “Sex Education” fan hasn’t caught themselves dreaming of living in the house of Otis and his mother Jean? Perhaps it’s time to take out the checkbook: the magnificent building has been put up for sale according to of the BBC for the modest sum of 1.5 million pounds sterling (1.7 million euros).

Huge success on Netflix, “Sex education” tells the story of British teenagers confronted with the discovery of their body and sexuality. In the first season, the hero, Otis, applies the advice of his sexologist mother to resolve the problems of his classmates.

In the series, the young man and his mother live in this large wooden chalet located in reality in Symonds Yat, in Herefordshire on the border with Wales.

“A breathtaking view of the Wye Gorge”

According to the BBC, it is a former salmon fishing lodge from the 18th century. Boasting five bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over three floors, it is being sold by Knight Frank in Bristol. It is described on the estate agent’s website as “utterly exceptional with stunning views across the Wye Gorge” from its secluded woodland setting.

The house has five bedrooms.

And that’s not all, the house has 1.8 ha of land. Potential buyers even have the option of purchasing the former chapel located just at the end of the property’s long driveway, although this is “subject to separate negotiation”.
