After six matchdays, Bayern Munich is only third in the Bundesliga. The former dominance seems to be gone. The coach also expects a late decision.

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel expects an all-round battle for the championship this Bundesliga season. In addition to Borussia Dortmund, the 50-year-old has Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig on his list.
“These teams play very well, are dangerous and successful,” said Tuchel after the 2-2 draw in Leipzig. However, speculation would be of little help at the moment. “We have to go our own way and show grit.”
Tension at the top of the table
Sports director Simon Rolfes of Bayern Leverkusen sees the tension at the top of the table as entirely positive. “I think every football fan in Germany is happy when things get close for a long time in the Bundesliga,” said Rolfes in ZDF’s “Sportstudio”.
Bayern had previously only played 2-2 against Leverkusen and had not yet won a top duel this season. According to Joshua Kimmich, this is not necessarily due to the strength of the opponents. “We invite them and give them food to get into the game,” said the national player in Leipzig. Munich equalized a 0-2 deficit in the second half for the cup winners. “It was important that we showed a reaction.”
