Health before all. For a majority of French people, questioned in an Odoxa survey carried out for Winamax and RTL, the captain of the XV of France Antoine Dupont should not rush his return to the field. This is the main lesson of this barometer published this Sunday.

However, the absence of Antoine Dupont clearly reduces the chances of winning the World Cup: 82% of French people think that the French XV can be titled with him compared to 70% without him, according to the same survey.

But for the French, it is the health of the best French player that must first be preserved. The French are indeed worried about his health (74%), for the rest of his career (68%) and even think that he would not be at his best level in shift (76%).
Odoxa also asked rugby fans about Dupont’s possible replacement. And they lean more in favor of Baptiste Couilloud (59%) than of Maxime Lucu (40%).
