Coach Dorival Júnior held a press conference this Saturday (30), in Morumbi, and evaluated Tricolor’s comeback victory over Corinthians 2-1 in a duel valid for the 2023 Brazilian Championship.
The coach highlighted the team’s attitude at Majestoso. “It’s a pleasure to see, because it’s the result of everyone’s work and awareness. The players know the movements they have to make”, he highlighted.
Both Tricolor goals were scored by Calleri. With the victory, the team reaches 34 points and remains in tenth place in the Brazilian Championship.
“We want a better position than we are at the moment. This is a small recovery of everything we left throughout the games. We have to be aware that the championship is very difficult, there is little care and we cannot fool around in any way. That’s why we’re going to look for the best possible formation in search of great results,” he said.
The team’s next commitment in the competition is against Vasco, next Saturday, October 7th, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), in São Januário, in Rio de Janeiro, for the Brasileirão.
