Several gang members from different networks have allegedly convened for a secret meeting to strategize their actions against notorious criminal Rawa Majid, according to information obtained by Svenska Dagbladet. In an unexpected turn of events, rival gangs have apparently formed an alliance with the intention of freezing out Majid and seizing his assets.

The recent surge in violence across Sweden has seen a series of explosions, shootings, and murders. The month of September alone witnessed the highest number of fatalities attributed to gang-related activities since their emergence in the country. Twelve people lost their lives during this bloodshed.

Many of these incidents are directly linked to an internal conflict within the Foxtrot network, which is headed by Rawa Majid, also known as the “Kurdish Fox.” Aftonbladet has reported that Majid’s fallout with his former right-hand man, Ismail Abdo, is the primary cause of the ongoing turmoil.

The wave of violence was set in motion when Abdo’s mother, a woman in her 60s, was tragically shot and killed in Uppsala on September 7. Sources suggest that a clandestine meeting took place between leaders of various criminal networks in connection with this wave of violence.

During the meeting, the leaders purportedly aimed to neutralize the Foxtrot network by imposing an armistice among the rival suburbs and cutting off Majid’s access to his network of associates known as “running boys.” Removing support from multiple networks would severely hamper Majid’s ability to recruit new members.

A source cited by Svenska Dagbladet underscored the significance of the meeting, emphasizing that disrupting local conflicts would pose a major obstacle to Majid’s pursuit of personal interests. The meeting allegedly involved around ten individuals who sought to make it more difficult for Majid to exploit tensions within the community.

Breaking an unwritten rule, the meeting is said to have occurred because the previous understanding to spare the involvement of relatives in gang disputes no longer applies. The ultimate goal, as stated by the source, was to lay the groundwork for peace and put an end to the violent conflict.

According to Aftonbladet, the Zero network from Jordbro in Haninge, south of Stockholm, has severed ties with Majid and allied themselves with Ismail Abdo. This fracture within the Foxtrot network has created opportunities for other groups, as stated by Mats Baakki, the deputy head of the special investigation team formed earlier this year to combat the wave of violence.

Amidst the escalating tensions, targets of these gangs have been forced to flee their homes, with some seeking refuge abroad. Crime reporter Diamant Salihu of SVT revealed that both sides are actively searching for the whereabouts of these targets. Salihu disclosed that Rawa Majid has reportedly sought refuge in Turkey, while some of his allies have fled to Tunisia.

The dissolution of the Foxtrot network and the alignment of former allies have left law enforcement authorities grappling with the changing dynamics. The question now arises as to which side the members have chosen and whether they remain united or have further split into factions.

As the situation unfolds, authorities are intensifying efforts to contain the violence and maintain public safety.
