The best looks from the San Sebastián Film Festival

Last Saturday the closing gala took place, ending nine intense days of cinema and fashion in the capital of Gipuzkoa. During all of them, we have been able to observe different celebrities wearing their best outfits along the crimson textile. That is why today, we give you a small summary of those that have been, in our opinion, the most significant.

As we could see during the first days, dresses in black and white as well as reddish and metallic hues have been the main protagonists for women. Suits in navy blue and black have been the main ones for men. With the presence of some international brands but also national brands.

Thus, during the first Jordanas we highlight the actress Natalia de Molina, protagonist of the film Asedio, with a jacket, top and fringed skirt in black, the cast of the film Un Amor, with its director Isabel Coixet wearing a ‘total look’ in black by Maison Margiela, the actress Laia Costa with a long-sleeved dress and asymmetric hem in black and white with pink and red flowers by Chanel, Ingrid García-Jonsson in a dress with a collar, sleeveless and front buttoning in black Dior and the actor Hugo Silva with a navy blue striped suit by Lander Urquijo. We also highlight the actress Mihaya Shirata from the movie Last Shadow At First Light with a dress with a surreal motif in neutral tones. We were able to see the presenters of the Basque Cinema gala, Aitziber Garmendia opted for a red sequin dress by Raquel Balencia, while Jon Plazaola wore a black suit and tie by Sastrería Aldabaldetreku, one of their guests, the actress Nerea Garmendia opted for a bright and colorful suit by Rubén Hernández and the award-winning Estíbaliz Urresola wore the ‘Arratiarra’ shirt by Amarenak.

One of the most anticipated moments was the appearance of actress Jessica Chastain who surprised with a spectacular strapless and sequin dress in blue and nude by Gucci. In the following days we highlight the actress Nadia Tereszkiewicz with an outfit with beige embroidery and the actor Quim Gutiérrez with a gray suit, both from Dior, protagonists of the film Lile Rouge. To the cast of The Messiah, with its directors Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo with two ‘total looks’ in black by Dolce & Gabbana, to the actress Macarena García with a satin dress with asymmetrical hem in red, to Carmen Machi with a dress with a cape also in red and the singer Amaia with a dress with a white ‘bardot’ neckline. We were also able to see the actress María León and the actor Jose Coronado, both in black, from the film Close your eyes and the model Eugenia Silva together with the actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre and the ‘influencer’ María Pombo, the first in a dress colorful rhinestones, the second with a suede suit and the third with a black glitter dress, all by Giorgio Armani.
