Ministry of Education and Science: almost half of the students of Russian universities vaccinated against coronavirus

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Afanasyev said that the number of students in Russian universities vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus is approaching 50 percent. At the same time, he clarified that in different universities and regions there is a different situation, but in general the level of vaccination is increasing.

The proportion of vaccinated teachers among teachers, according to Afanasyev, exceeds 90 percent.

In November last year, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science, Valery Falkov, reported that about 32 percent of students were vaccinated, and about 75 percent of teachers and university staff.
