An agenda to accelerate sustainable mobility. Global Mobility Call has emerged as the largest meeting point of the movement that promotes sustainable mobility internationally. With more than 130 sessions, the GMC Espacio Congress program will allow participants to learn about the latest developments, trends and cutting-edge initiatives in sustainable mobility.
Global Mobility Call will also host three major events on the official mobility agenda of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of Spain and which will feature the participation of European commissioners. This is the “Technical Conference on Mobility in Rural Areas”, the “The PEP Partnership on Active Mobility” meeting, as well as an important conference on the European Corridors in Spain 360: Atlantic Corridor and Mediterranean Corridor, for which a investment of more than 53,806 million euros.
The Global Mobility Call program will feature the largest cast of international speakers who are experts in mobility, such as the visionary aeronaut and president of the Solar Impulse Foundation, Bertrand Piccard; Peggy Liu, from JUCCCE (Joint US China Collaboration on Clean Energy); Jeremy Rifkin, president of the Foundation for Economic Trends (FOET); Ge Jun, CEO of ToJoy Shared Holding Group; Ugwem Eneyo, Co-Founder and CEO of SHYFT Power Solution; and Miguel Luengo-Oroz, the founder and CEO of Spotlab (AI for medicine) and former Chief Data Scientist at the UN.
GMC Congress space is organized into 8 thematic itineraries: The Path to Net-Zero sponsored by EDP; Sustainable Transportation, sponsored by SISTEM; From Automotive to Mobility Solutions, sponsored by PWC; Technology and Innovation, sponsored by INDRA; Mobility solutions for citizens, sponsored by MOBILITY ADO; Smart and liveable cities; Talent and future jobs; and Better Business for Economic Development.
Innovation, driving force of Global Mobility Call
At Global Mobility Call 2023, innovation and entrepreneurship around mobility will be at the center of the action, with the participation of international innovation hubs, technology centers, universities and startups. In the Innovation Arena, disruptive projects will be presented and there will be discussion tables on cybersecurity, high-tech, new financing solutions and new studies applied to mobility.
The International Sustainable Mobility Challenge for startups, the Invest event, and Brockarege by EDIH Madrid Region – European Digital Innovation Hub, are some of the featured events of the program along with a Young Talent and Entrepreneurship Day, promoted by the Polytechnic Universities of Madrid , Catalonia, Cartagena and Valencia at the forefront in the mobility R&D sector.
