The head of the Hesder Yeshiva in Sderot, Rabbi David Pendel, refers to the High Court’s rejection of the dormitory ruling until the end of the year, and says that despite the positive news, it is impossible to return the students who left the world of Torah.
In a short article he published, Rabbi Pendel wrote: “Today we were informed that there are still a few months until the decrees against the students of Israel (ultra-Orthodox and religious) apply. Rabbi Pendel clarified that “the High Court can not repay those who have already stopped studying Torah, those who have already expelled their children, or the long months of insult and pressure and uncertainty, and especially the disrespect caused by the reconciliation government led by Lieberman.”

Rabbi Pendel said to the students: “It is important for us to tell the students that everything we have built is for you – you in your devotion and choice sanctify the name of heaven, and you are the reserve for the people of Israel in education, rabbinate and judiciary and intellectuals. “And to the land of Israel.
