News from Angola – The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) officially announced, today, Morocco, Portugal and Spain as the countries that will host the 2030 World Cup.

According to the same announcement, Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay will host the first three games to mark the 100th anniversary of the World Cup, thus making six nations, which will automatically qualify for the competition.

In the same context, another novelty that stands out is the fact that the tournament will be held on three continents for the first time (Africa, America and Europe).

For the second time in history, the biggest national team football tournament will be held in an African country, after having already taken place in South Africa in 2010.

The Football World Cup was organized for the first time in 1930 by Uruguay, which won the same edition.

The last edition, held in Qatar, was won by Argentina. The next one will be held in 2026 in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada.
