Buyers of GOGORO Taiwanese scooters, which will soon start selling in Israel, will be able to replace batteries at stations that will be installed at Paz gas stations, the two companies agreed.
The “Paz” gas station chain has signed an agreement with the importer of two-wheelers Metro, according to which battery replacement stations will be installed at its gas stations for a scooter known as the “Tesla of the scooters”. This was reported this morning (Thursday) in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
This is the GOGORO company, which produces scooters that have 2 batteries weighing 6 kg under the seat, which riders will be able to replace when emptied at Paz stations in video-like positions.
According to the agreement between the two companies, in the first quarter of 2022, positions will be set up at Paz stations in the Tel Aviv area, in the second quarter the deployment to Gush Dan and Jerusalem will be expanded, and by the end of the year it will cover most of the country.
The launch of the tools in the country was planned for 2020, but was postponed due to the corona and due to the delay in the Ministry of Transport in approving the import of tools with the European L1e license.
