Tijuana, BC.- According to the figures of the Mexican Commission for Aid to Refugees (Comar), From January to September, 112,960 migrants requested shelter protection from the Mexican government, a number that exceeded the same period last year.
The document details that the migrants who most requested protection are from Haiti, Honduras, Cuba, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador.

Likewise, Comar revealed that from January to September of this year it resolved 27,762 migrant procedures, of which 15,741 obtained refuge.
