Kanye West ‘secretly fights to trademark the phrase YEWS which he plans to use for everything from music to restaurants and financial services’

Kanye West is reportedly making moves to trademark the phrase ‘YEWS’ for use in a variety of sectors, including music, restaurants, and financial services. The filings were submitted on October 2 by a company called Ox Paha Inc., which is linked to West’s office in Los Angeles.

The 26 trademark filings cover a range of industries, such as music and audio, entertainment content, financial services, beauty products, and even industrial analysis and research. The choice of the phrase ‘YEWS’ has raised some concern due to its similarity to the word ‘Jews’ and West’s previous antisemitic comments.

West faced repercussions for his controversial remarks, which led to several brands severing ties with him. Companies such as Adidas, Gap, and Def Jam Records dropped their partnerships with the rapper, and even the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where West received an honorary doctorate, rescinded the degree.

In a podcast episode of Alex Jones’ Infowars, West expressed admiration for Hitler and denied the Holocaust, causing widespread outrage. He later made further anti-Semitic remarks and threats.

West’s former business partner, Alex Klein, accused him of making anti-Semitic comments and believing in a conspiracy theory about Jews working together to hinder his success.

Despite the backlash and consequences, West seems determined to trademark the phrase ‘YEWS’ and expand his brand into various industries.

DailyMail.com has reached out to West for comment on his trademark filings, but he has yet to respond.
