Kieran Crowley, Italy coach, after the 60-7 defeat against France: “I’m very disappointed, obviously. I thought we were good yesterday… But we started badly, we conceded a try quickly. I thought we were in the match at the start but we conceded a few turnovers and we couldn’t convert our chances. If we score, we can go into halftime at 24-7 and it’s not the same game. We are 31-0, that makes all the difference. We’re in our place, where everyone expected us to end up. We could have played another rugby to limit the gap but we are not like that… We could have scored more but I have a lot of respect for these players. I’m proud of it.”
