The film festival will traditionally be held in three cities of the North-East: Kohtla-Järve, Jõhvi and Narva. This time the festival will open with the documentary “Bridges to Liverpool” or behind the scenes of “Eurovision 2023” in the film by Mikhail Idov and Mikhail Waltfogel, on the big screen at the Narva Geneva Center, November 10 at 19.00.

From November 7th to 19th, for 13 days, KinoFF guests will enjoy a wide range of films, meetings with directors and actors, and master classes. The festival program is always an interesting collection of films where different cultures and genres intertwine. From dramas to comedies to animation to documentaries, KinoFF has something for everyone. KinoFF is an event where you can not only enjoy amazing cinema, but also meet creative people, share ideas and discuss our future and present. “We hope this will be interesting to a wide range of people, which is why we decided to open the KinoFF festival with a documentary about probably the most popular Narvite woman today – Alika Milova,” shared the festival director, Yana Budkovskaya.

The heroine of the film Alika Milova is a 20-year-old singer and composer from Narva, Eurovision 2023 participant. At the official opening of the KinoFF film festival, Alika will tell her success story and how important it is to believe in the future and inspire yourself and others. You will learn how the young singer managed, despite the hate and bookmakers’ forecasts, to become one of the most notable participants in the competition. The adventurous story of a young artist and behind the scenes of Eurovision 2023 in Mikhail Waltfogel’s film Bridges to Liverpool will be shown on the big screen in Narva on 10.11.2023 at 19.00.

“This is a special year for us as KinoFF celebrates its fifth anniversary. We have developed and grown together with you, and we are proud to present a new anniversary visual style that will help us bring the people of Ida-Virumaa closer to the amazing stories about our people and places. We invite you to relax and immerse yourself in interesting stories, emotions, discoveries. Let’s sit down and relax together,” noted Yana Budkovskaya, chief producer of KinoFF.

The KinoFF 2023 festival will take place from 7-19 November 2023 in the cities of Kohtla-Jarve, Jõhvi and Narva. Tickets will go on sale at the end of October and will cost 6 euros regular and 4 euros reduced.

As last year, we advise you to purchase festival passes, which are already on sale. The KinoFF festival pass for 10 tickets costs 40 euros. The KinoFF subscription is personal.
