Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The former representative of the State of Law coalition, Rasul Radi, confirmed on Tuesday that the revenues of the Kurdistan region are still not known or known by the federal government, pointing out that Baghdad is still supplying the region with money even though this is a violation of the law and court decisions. Radi said, “There is an urgent need to implement the Federal Court’s decision regarding granting funds to the Kurdistan region, as it is not permissible to finance them without obtaining the revenues stipulated in the budget.”

He added, “Political courtesies have a major role in granting the region the money it wants, under the pretext of financing employees’ salaries and getting out of this impasse, at a time when the regional government has not implemented any agreements or commitments regarding the Federal Court’s decision.”

He stated that “Kurdistan’s revenues are still unknown, although the law stipulates the necessity of handing over the revenues to Baghdad in exchange for giving Erbil its share of the budget according to the percentage stipulated in the law.”
