The Minister of Health of the Government of Aragon, José Luis Bancalero Flores, has stated that the approach to child and adolescent mental health will be carried out with the collaboration of the Departments of Education and Social Welfare and Family of the regional Executive.
He spoke this way on the occasion of his visit to the child and youth mental health services and programs promoted by the Aragonese Pro Health Association (ASAPME), in Zaragoza, which has acquired technological equipment to facilitate the work of caring for minors thanks to a donation. from the Carrefour Foundation.
The Minister of Health came accompanied by the general director of Mental Health, Manuel Corbera, and was received by the manager of ASAPME, Ana López. Bancalero has highlighted the cooperation of this association with the Department.
Likewise, he has expressed that in the field of child and adolescent health, resources will be increased, both material and professional, to face the increase in patients in this age group. The improvement of mid-stay infrastructure is also being studied so that these minors do not have to go to other autonomous communities.
