The UEFA Executive Committee confirmed this Tuesday the appointment of United Kingdom and Ireland as organizers of Euro 2028and the Italy and Türkiye as hosts of the competition in 2032.
Turkey’s decision to participate jointly with Italy in 2032 and withdraw the project that it had presented alone for both that edition and 2028, left both candidacies as the only ones for the two editions that the UEFA Executive had to determine this Tuesday.
UEFA confirmed that in the case of United Kingdom and Ireland The proposed venues for 2028 are the stadiums of Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Londres (2) Manchester y Newcastle.
The joint Italian and Turkish bid for 2023 presented 20 possible stadiums, of which 10 will be chosen, five in each country, in October 2026.
