Verín held an urgent extraordinary plenary session yesterday morning, in the assembly hall of the Council’s House of Culture, in which it was approved a Treasury operation of 2,600,000 euros.
The operation, approved by 12 votes in favor -7 PSdeG-PSOE and 5 BNG- and 4 against the Popular Party, will allow, according to Gerardo Seoane, councilor of the municipality, finance grants awarded that have not yet been received in the municipal coffers, as well as having a Treasury to guarantee optimal functioning during the next year.
This is an operation that “was carried out in previous years,” says Seoane, and consists of a short-term credit contraction that exceeds 2 and a half million euros.
During the plenary session, also realized the liquidation of the general budget for the year 2022initiating ex officio the corresponding procedure for its preparation as well as the approval, without support from the Popular Party, of the minutes of the session held previously.
