The XXVI Edition of the International Artistic-Literary Competition Antonio de Curtis (Totò), Prince, Mask, Poet, organized by the Friends of Totò Association… regardless! Onlus, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 125th anniversary of the birth of Antonio de Curtis and the 56th anniversary of his death.

The event is organized with the collaboration of the two Friends of Totò Foundations… regardless! and Duilio Paoluzzi, together with numerous associations including the Accademia Internazionale Partenopea Federico II of Naples; Latest for Legality Onlus; Ama (Medici Artists Association); International Neohumanist Movement; Dimos (Italian Association of Bone Marrow Donors); Hermes 2000 with the solidarity table; Ancis International Association; Aisa, Italian Association for the fight against ataxic syndromes; Un Tetto Insieme and with the participation of the online newspaper ilquotidianodisalerno.it.

The 2023 awards ceremony will take place in Rome, on 15 December, in the New Hall of the Palazzo dei Gruppo Parliamentari della Camera (in Via di Campo Marzio 78). The Competition is divided into numerous Sections: Poetry, published or unpublished, with a free theme, in language and in the vernacular (dedicated to the memory of the actor Arnaldo Ninchi). You participate with three poems (not exceeding 40 verses in triplicate). The Fiction has a free theme: Novel and Short Stories in memory of the actor Gennaro Momo. Non-fiction, in memory of Professor Giuseppe Anziano. And finally the Libri Verità, named after the Neapolitan vice commissioner Annibale Martino, who passed away in Trieste. In the first two subsections you can participate with an essay or a novel or with a story (maximum six pages in three copies).

The Truth Books, on the other hand, will have to enunciate political and social malpractice, while for the Journalism section, dedicated to the memory of the reporter Antonio De Marco, founder of the daily Ages press agency, the most documented will be rewarded “in compliance with the principles of neutrality and truth “. In the Art section, in memory of the Vatican painter, Maestro Irio Ottavio Fantini, we participate with the documentation of the works created. For Photography, dedicated to the memory of the Master of Image Carlo Riccardi, well-known paparazzo of the Dolce Vita, photographs are always sent.

The Cinematography section is dedicated to the actor Carlo Croccolo: a video of the film is needed; the Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to personalities who have distinguished themselves in the entertainment or art sector; the Sports section is for athletes who have shown a particular commitment to promoting youth sports. The Protection of Work to combat unrelated deaths is dedicated to the writer Emilia Palmieri Collins. The recognition will go to the industrialists who most respect environmental and safety regulations, in relation to accidents and injuries at work monitored by the Inail Observatory.

“As for the special recognitions – explains the president of the Award, the lawyer Alberto De Marco – “And I’m not watching…” we named it after Nadia Toffa, presenter of the TV program Le iene: school groups with a text on the topic of bullying. I also remember the Bontà Prize, in memory of Giuliano Montelatici, editor of cultural columns at Vatican Radio; for Equal Opportunities, in the name of Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini, female figures who have distinguished themselves in their area of ​​competence”.
