The next round of “Blind Auditions” began on Thursday evening at “The Voice of Germany”. When competing for the best singing talent, coaches Ronan Keating (46), Giovanni Zarrella (45), Shirin David (28) and Tom and Bill Kaulitz (both 34) got into a lot of chat.
Bill’s head cinema was activated: he confessed a wild sexual fantasy for which he would even rob a bank.

The reason for the excursion into Bill’s fantasy world was candidate Marcel (22) from Burgenland, Austria. The bank employee started “The Voice of Germany” with an extra dose of nervousness. His performance of “More than Words” was his first ever stage appearance. But unfortunately he didn’t get a single buzzer.
Marcel was shaking with excitement – and was comforted by Shirin David, who was still thrilled: “You did it and everyone loves you!”
When Marcel took a deep breath, Bill Kaulitz also remarked with relief: “I have the feeling you are feeling better. The color is slowly coming back.”

Now Marcel could also talk about his job as a bank employee, which apparently continued to concern Bill even after the candidate’s departure. He suddenly revealed: “I would like to break into the bank. That’s my fantasy!” Giovanni Zarrella immediately intervened and remarked: “But your fantasy is also to be taken away!”
And then Bill went into raptures and continued his thoughts: “Being arrested by a very hot officer. And then I think about how to get out of there again…” Giovanni had to laugh out loud: “When the officer is hot, he shouts: Here! Here!”

The appearance of Tobias (33) also made Bill very vague. He performed the title “Bierle in da Sun” in Bavarian dialect and sang: “And there foam, yes there it says, as white as it goes. Mmmmh, that’s what you give me. Go, lick how it tastes.”
Unfortunately there was no buzzer for him either – but Bill explained this with the ambiguous lyrics of the song: “I was just a bit distracted, I have to say. I was like: foam? Lick? What?”
Meanwhile, Shirin smiled mischievously at Tobias: “I may not have turned around. But I would also like to have a beer in the sun with you.”

After Tobias also left without a coach, the topic of “beer” stuck with Ronan Keating. He remembered: “I once went to Oktoberfest and drank the best beer of my life there. I probably drank 20 of them!”
It probably wasn’t 20 liters of beer – but Ronan was able to collect quite a few talents for his team that evening.

These candidates go into battles
Justyna (36) from Berlin dared to try a classic by Whitney Houston (†48). After her performance of “How will I know”, Shirin David grabbed the Polish native for her team.
Sina (21) from Dortmund had a crush on Tom Kaulitz as a teenager: “I was super sad when he was with Heidi.” But now Tom also has time for her – even if only professionally. He brought the psychology student into “Team Toll” together with his brother Bill.
The Michael Jackson hit “Earth Song” helped Lizi (21) get a place in the next round. She ended up on “Team Giovanni”.

Medical student Simon (21) from Berlin sang “I guess, I’m in love” by Clinton Kane. Ronan Keating turned around for him and brought him into his team.
There was a four-way buzzer for Tatjana (25) from Vienna. However, Bill and Tom had blocked Shirin – Bill explained why: “I love your energy. I was really afraid of Girls Power.” He convinced Tatjana – she also decided on the Kaulitz twins as coaches.
Shortly afterwards, Ronan Keating had something to look forward to again: he buzzed for opera singer Vikrant (33) and was able to sign him to his team.
Angela (42) from Berlin is no stranger: She works as a supporting actress for “Good Times, Bad Times” and plays the waitress Maria there. Before her performance, she even received a video greeting from actor Wolfgang Bahro (63), aka GZSZ villain Jo Gerner. After the song “Leuchtturm” by Nena, Bill and Tom buzzed and brought Angela into their team.

Alex (24) was there for the second time. In 2020, no one was buzzing for him on “The Voice” – now three teams were vying for his favor. Shirin David didn’t hit the buzzer. A mistake, as she noted: “I deeply regret not turning around.” Alex communicated his decision on the piano by singing “When you say nothing at all”. A hit from Ronan Keating, who not only sang along but also happily welcomed the candidate into his team.
