The American Amanda Knox (36) became world famous as the defendant in the murder case of Meredith Kercher († 21). She – who became famous as the “Angel with the Ice Eyes” – spent four years in prison before being acquitted of murder charges in the final and fifth instance in 2015.
Now she of all people will reopen the murder case. Amanda Knox wants to tell her truth in a streaming series – with the help of Bill Clinton’s famous ex-intern Monica Lewinsky (50).
A big-budget TV drama will tell “the horrifying true story” of the murder of Knox’s roommate, British exchange student Meredith Kercher, reports „Daily Mail“.

Kercher was found stabbed to death in her bedroom in November 2007; in an apartment in the Italian mountain town of Perugia, which she shared with student Amanda Knox (then 20).
In her new streaming project, Knox wants to tell in her own words how she was suspected, arrested, imprisoned and then released and exonerated again – supposedly with new details.

What does Monica Lewinsky have to do with it?
As a reminder, Lewinsky was a White House intern who became famous overnight in the late 1990s after her oral sex encounters with then-President Bill Clinton in a closet behind the Oval Office were exposed.
