The coronavirus pandemic has increased the frequency of headaches among the Mexican population and not only due to the disease, but also due to the stress and the constant anxiety in which people have lived since then.

Regarding this, Idelfonso Rodríguez-Leyva, head of neurology at the Central Hospital of San Luis Potosí, in Mexico, “the stress and anxiety that has been constant in the population has led to an increase in the frequency of headaches, coupled with the fact that those who suffer from COVID-19 can develop chronic migraine“.
