Kinda: “I’m sure I’ll still lead the Israeli team”

by time news

Quietly Quietly, Gadi Kinda has been closing in for two years in the United States. The midfielder, who left Betar Jerusalem in favor of the adventure at Sporting Kansas City, has already bought himself a permanent place in the Blue team – and finished last season with 26 appearances, five goals, six assists and quite a few compliments on the way he performs. And waiting for the next season in MLS, he turned to an exclusive interview for the sports channel: about life in America, about the dreams of the national team and also about the championship fight in Israel.

First of all, you underwent surgery. How do you feel and how long will you be away?
“Thank God, I feel good. I underwent miniscus surgery and I believe that in a month and a half I will return with the help of the name.”

How is your integration in the group? You built a good name for yourself there.
“I fitted in great, the people are amazing, everything went really smoothly. From the first moment my wife was with me and it makes it a lot easier. I really enjoy it.”

Many said you would not hold out and would want to return to the land, and you continued on your own. How homeless?
“I knew I was going out to be successful and stay there for many years. Obviously the house is missing, but I’m a professional and that’s my job. It’s the choice I made and I go with it to the end. I’m not one to give up.”

What is the difference between US and national football?
“Football in the United States is completely different in terms of everything, the game is faster and stronger, but I think the Israeli player is more talented. In terms of facilities, this is the top of the top. The training is more difficult than what I experienced in Israel. ”

What are the ambitions? Stay in MLS? To get to Europe?
“I have a contract here for another two years and at the moment I’m fine where I am, but I’m dreaming and I’m sure I’ll get to Europe too.”

What do you like most about the US?
“I love life here, they are very comfortable, and the professionalism. There is a quiet here that lets you concentrate on football.”

You came from Betar Jerusalem, what do you say about what is happening there?
“It hurts me a lot. It’s a club that lied to my heart. I wish they would be back where this club really should be.”

There was a feeling that there would be a more significant factor in the Israeli team. Why do you think this has not happened yet?
“I have no doubt that I should have been more significant on the team. I do not know why it did not happen. I am sure it will happen and that I will still lead the team.”

Who do you think will win the championship in Israel?
“Maccabi Haifa”.

What do you say about the attempt to add Ethiopian footballers who play in Israel to the Ethiopian team?
“I can understand them because they did not get a chance in the Israeli team. I do not see this as a problem. Everyone will do what is good for them and right for them.”
