Love was in the air here.
The blind auditions of “The Voice of Germany” usually cause heated discussions between the coaches. Each of them wants to recruit the most promising talents for their team and likes to dish it out against their opponents.
On Friday evening, however, there was not only a particularly peaceful atmosphere – Cupid had also found a special place in the show.
While the performance of a couple in love initially caused Giovanni Zarrella (45) to cry, shortly afterwards he took the microphone himself and performed together with Ronan Keating (46) for the woman of his dreams.
The Irish cuddly singer was also struck by “Amore” – there were several declarations of love from him.

Loving couple moves coaches to tears
Katharina (37) and Arestak (30) have been engaged for almost three years and want to get married soon. Their getting to know each other was not without obstacles: When they met for the first time, Arestak was an intern at the music school where Katharina sang in the musical. However, she was five months pregnant with her then-husband.
After some time, Arestak and Katharina saw each other again and now share not only their lives, but also their passion for music. With their duet to “Fall On Me” by Andrea Bocelli (65) and his son Matteo (26), they sang their way into the hearts of coach Giovanni Zarrella in particular.

Ronan Keating also buzzed and was amazed when he heard the couple’s story: “Unbelievable! This is the love story of ‘The Voice of Germany’. That’s perfect. We always need love stories. We found her here.”
The couple chose Ronan as their coach, who now raved about his own wife: “My wife and I sing together all the time. There’s nothing better for me than singing with her!”

Giovanni sings for his Jana Ina
Giovanni was still so passionate about the love duet that he made a special request to Ronan Keating: “I have one wish. ‘If tomorrow never comes’. Both of us.” This Keating song always reminds him of the day on which he said yes to Jana Ina (46): “That was our dance at our wedding.”
Of course, Ronan couldn’t refuse this request, and so Giovanni sent a message to Jana Ina into the camera: “Honey: Here is the original singer. And your husband. The song is for you!” And a little bit for his jury opponent Ronan too – Gio told him in the middle of the joint performance: “I love you, brother!” Ronan also affirmed his love, which he repeated again in a final hug became: “I love you too.”

The other coaches also apparently have a permanent place in Ronan’s heart. After the appearance of Kristin (20), who was happy about a buzzer from Ronan, Giovanni and the Kaulitz twins (34), the former “The Voice of Australia” coach went into raptures – and made a clear statement as he addressed his colleagues: “This is a gift. A dream! My favorite team on ‘The Voice’ that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Around the world!”
There was a lot of love in return: in a group hug with all the coaches, everyone cuddled and hugged as much as they could. But the Kaulitz twins were particularly happy: Kristin chose “Team Toll”.

These talents also have a place in the battles
▶︎ Handball coach Naomi (19) secured the Kaulitz twins Bill and Tom as coaches. They welcomed another talent to their team.
▶︎ Finja (20) stood out not only with her colorful hair, but also with her voice. Shirin David (28) buzzed during the performance of “Denkmal” and secured the talent for her team.
▶︎ Four-way buzzer for teaching student Philip (24)! Shirin even blocked coach opponent Ronan – but Philip still chose the Kaulitz twins as coaches. A bitter blow for Shirin, who then complained: “That was the basket of my life!”
▶︎ Marius (27) performed the Bausa song “What you call love” and convinced Giovanni Zarrella, who grabbed the supervisor from Reutlingen for his team.
▶︎ Giovanni had an easy time with Dan (43), who was born in Italy. He persuaded him in Italian to join his team and was successful. Of course, Bill Kaulitz didn’t understand a word and couldn’t resist making a joke: “He probably offered him money. Cars, diamonds…”
