Burkina: The army anticipates an attack by killing numerous terrorists in Séguénéga
Ouagadougou, October 12, 2023 (AIB) – The Combatant Forces killed several terrorists who were preparing an attack very early on Thursday, in the vicinity of Séguénéga (North), before recovering a large batch of war materials.
The Burkinabè intelligence services have once again shown their effectiveness, by helping to save innocent lives.
In fact, they detected a large-scale attack plan that was being planned against Combatant Forces operating in northern localities.
These are around a hundred terrorists, heavily armed, who arrived in small groups on the night of October 11 to 12, 2023 in Sitigo, 8km west of Seguenega (Yatenga, North).
The assassins thought they were resting before surprising the Fighting Forces in the early morning.
But fortunately, the exact opposite happened.
At dawn, several air vectors will crisscross the area and constantly spit fire on criminals who are still dozing.
From the first strikes, several terrorists were killed, most of them burned with their motorcycles and weapons.
Survivors are caught near Selyerdo, hidden under the trees. But wasted effort, they will also be neutralized while the hunt continues.
Then, it is the turn of the ground units to carry out the mop-up.
They will observe several charred bodies of the damned and distribute them with a large batch of war materials.
