Vatican: Pope Francis appoints undersecretary of Heritage Administration

Pope Francis has appointed the new undersecretary of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See (APSA) the nun Silvana Piro, until now bursar of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Child Jesus (FMGB).

The APSA’s mission is to administer the assets that are property of the Holy See, intended to provide the funds necessary to fulfill the functions of the Roman Curia.

Sister Silvana Piro was born on November 6, 1972 in the town of Torre del Greco, in the province of Naples (Italy). She is 50 years old.
