Pastor Jack, from the Vintage Church, commented on a recent statement by Felipe Neto, who suggested a truce with those who disagree with him politically, and stated that the activist has “divinity syndrome”.

The controversy came to a head when the chocolate brand Bis announced a sponsorship of Felipe Neto’s initiatives in the field of entertainment. Given the negative reaction of large part of the conservative publicthe activist recorded a video suggesting a truce.

In his statement, Felipe Neto stated that ten months have passed since the new government took office and that it was time for conciliation, since on his YouTube channel he was not dedicated to talking about politics.

People immediately reacted with a boycott of the Bis brand, remembering that the activist himself said months ago that there would be no “amnesty” in favor of those who voted for the re-election of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and oppose the ideological agendas of the left.

In this context, Pastor Jack endorsed the boycott and used his social networks to highlight the activist’s cynical stance: “Have you noticed that in Felipe Neto’s head he decides when the discussion begins and ends?”, he asked.

“He says it’s been 10 months… that we need peace… but not before? When he encouraged the persecution of conservatives was it ok? It was right? When he said he would not have ‘amnesty’… At that moment the divinity syndrome that this guy has becomes even clearer!”, he added.

The leader of the Vintage Church, from Porto Alegre, considered that the protest gesture needs to send a clear message to society: “Therefore, everyone must boycott Bis until this contract ends! The brand decided to enter the middle of this discussion and paid to see, and so the people must use this legitimate means to speak out”.

“Wanting to take this away from the people is the attitude of people who hate anonymous people. People who think they are superior, and who shouldn’t get involved in something that the masses have embraced. Don’t be needy at this point”, he concluded.
