Mohammed Mogouchkov, the man who fatally stabbed a teacher in a high school in Arras (Pas-de-Calais) this Friday, was not unknown to the intelligence services. This 20-year-old young man was the subject of close monitoring by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) since the end of July. The measure was taken after the discovery of links maintained with people gravitating towards the Islamist movement, considered to be “objectives” of the internal intelligence service.
