Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Foreign Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara today (15) responded to Minister Namal Rajapaksa’s recent call to leave the government.
It was held at a party conference in Hambantota. The Hambantota District Conference of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) was held today at the Angunakolapelessa Town Hall under the chairmanship of party leader and former head of state Maithripala Sirisena.

I am constantly asked if I am leaving the government. Mahinda Rajapaksa did not say so. Consider Mahinda Rajapaksa’s interview with the Sinhala media. He claims that the LSSP and the Communists were with him during his rule. They also resisted. He says no such issues have arisen.
