Wood industry: Production falls by… 30%

DIG/ At the end of the second quarter of 2023, the production activity of the wood industries recovered by 3% compared to the previous quarter.

According to the Ministry of the Economy, this performance was achieved despite recurring problems on the railway with regard to supplying factories, particularly those installed in the Nkok ZIS.

However, year-on-year on the other hand, production collapsed by 30% due to logistical problems.
