The announcement of Fabrizio Borghini’s passing was made by Sandro Bennucci, president of the Tuscany Press Association, who remembers him as a “journalist passionate about Florence, cinema and culture”. “Cinema was a great passion of his to which he had also brought his son, a very young director. Born in 1947 in Florence, where he graduated in Literature with a thesis on the director Mario Monicelli. Fabrizio Borghini wrote the biographies of Fosco Giachetti, Mario Monicelli, Odoardo Spadaro and the volumes “Tirrenia.
