New Delhi: World championship bronze medalist Lakshya Sen advanced to the final of the India Open Badminton Championships here today.

Lakshya advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Malaysia’s Te Yong in the semi – finals on Saturday.

After losing the first game 19-21, Lakshya won the subsequent games 21-16, 21-12.

On Sunday, Singapore’s world champion Lo Keen Yu will face Lakshya in the final.
