This Monday, the U20 category faced the Russian U21 team in a friendly played in Cotia. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with a São Paulo goal scored by Maioli, from a penalty kick in the 26th minute of the first half.

São Paulo played with a team that has not been playing in the Campeonato Paulista and also used some Under-17 athletes. Commander of the category, coach Menta valued the confrontation. “The level of competition was very high and we faced a team from a very different school, which always adds to the boys’ development. At the State level, Tricolor advanced to the quarterfinals – the team has 15 wins, six draws and just one defeat. The team awaits the definition of the knockout table.
